As Senior Associate on the nonprofits team, Eva primarily works to develop and support clients’ budgetary, policy, and advocacy needs. These responsibilities include preparing strategic plans for the upcoming year, tracking appropriate legislation, and identifying funding opportunities for nonprofit organizations.

Prior to joining Kasirer, Eva served as Chief of Staff for Assemblymember Victor M. Pichardo of the 86th Assembly District, representing the University and Morris Heights, Mount Eden, Kingsbridge, Tremont, and Fordham sections of the Bronx. In this role, she managed the operations of both the Bronx District and Albany Legislative office, overseeing constituent services, engaging community leaders on community related issues, and securing millions of dollars in state funding for the 86th Assembly District.

In addition, she advanced the Assemblymember’s legislative priorities by engaging and collaborating with numerous stakeholders, including advocacy coalitions, interest groups, legislative staff, municipal and state agencies, and public officials across all levels of government.

Before serving as Chief of Staff, Eva interned for the office of former State Assemblymember Francisco Moya and U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer.

Eva graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a B.A. in Political Science.
