As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the milestones we’ve achieved together. At Kasirer, 2024 has been a year of incredible growth and collaboration. Since our founding over 25 years ago, Kasirer has been integral to the fabric of New York, shaping the city’s landscape through impactful advocacy, navigating complex challenges, and fostering meaningful connections. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without your trust and partnership, which continue to drive our success.

This year, we celebrated significant milestones, including securing thousands of affordable housing units across the city, obtaining transformative funding for nonprofits serving all five boroughs, and navigating the private sector through complex procurement and legislative processes. We’ve helped nonprofits find new programming space; we’ve conducted valuable due diligence for our clients exploring new investments; we’ve overcome city and state regulatory challenges for new developments, and we’ve gotten hard land use actions approved. These accomplishments reaffirm our mission to build a stronger, more equitable New York through effective advocacy and strategic collaboration.

I would be remiss not to recognize the incredible team here at Kasirer. Their tireless dedication, expertise, and passion drive our success every day. We’ve been fortunate to welcome talented new team members who bring diverse experiences and fresh perspectives, enhancing our ability to build coalitions across industries and achieve meaningful outcomes. Our new and longstanding staff are not only leaders in their fields but also mentors and role models who help shape the collaborative and dynamic culture we’re so proud of at Kasirer.

As we look ahead to 2025, we remain deeply committed to being the best advocates for you. While the coming year promises changes in New York and across the country, Kasirer is ready to guide our partners and clients through it all with strategy, resilience, and passion.
