Adam Roberts: vice president, legislationAdam Roberts partners with clients to advance beneficial legislation and hinder detrimental legislation in the New York City Council. Throughout his career, he has passed, amended, and halted countless bills as a government relations strategist for trade associations.

He brings to Kasirer a particular expertise in real estate, construction, and design, having overseen lobbying for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York and New York Apartment Association (NYAA)/Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP). Previously, he also worked for the New York City Council, UJA-Federation, and produced a documentary series for PBS. Adam is actively engaged in elected politics as well, including winning elections as a District Leader and State Committee Member, as well as running for the New York State Assembly.

Academically, he received a Bachelor’s from Johns Hopkins University and Master’s from Columbia University, both in political science. Additionally, Adam serves on numerous alumni committees for Johns Hopkins University and on the Working Group for the Living New Deal NYC Chapter. Originally from Long Island, he currently resides in Manhattan and the Catskills.
