Peter Krokondelas: Vice-PresidentVice President Peter Krokondelas specializes in crafting targeted community outreach programs at the grassroots level. He has more than three decades of experience working where government and politics intersect. Peter’s political and government service has spanned the five boroughs of New York City, with on-the-ground-work in nearly all of its unique, diverse neighborhoods.

On behalf of Kasirer’s clients, Peter has managed and coordinated high-profile major public policy-related campaigns and has built large coalitions of support for organizations among them Cornell Tech, Lockheed Martin, Uber, and WeWork. He has developed successful community and government outreach programs for Kasirer real estate clients including Brookfield Office Properties, Greenpoint Landing Associates, TF Cornerstone, and the TWA Hotel. Peter also specializes in securing critical community board approvals for well-known prominent local hospitality clients such as Smorgasburg and Café Gitano, for Michelin-starred restaurants Crown Shy and Hutong, and for world-renowned food and beverage hospitality providers including Ace Hotel, citizenM, Hotel Indigo, and Robin Birley.

Peter began his career in public service in 1989 as special assistant to Bronx Borough President Fernando Ferrer. Peter later became vice president of operations at a NYC political consulting firm where he successfully worked to elect candidates at all levels of city, state, and federal government. In 2006, he managed logistics and coordinated fundraising events for the successful gubernatorial campaign of Eliot Spitzer.

In his previous position with a lobbying firm, Peter managed prominent clients including Taconic Investment Partners, East River Realty, and the Community Preservation Corporation. He shaped government affairs strategies and served as liaison to organized labor, regularly negotiating on behalf of clients with union leaders from the building and construction trades, the health care industry, and the retail and hotel sectors.

Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Fordham University and a master’s degree in political management from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University.
