Cory Hasson: associate, government relationsCory supports research and prep needs for new business development as it pertains to legislation and policy, and helps track bills across all firmwide portfolios.

Cory joined Kasirer after serving as District Representative and Grants Coordinator to U.S. Congress Member Nita Lowey, where he led efforts to support her legislative priorities and coordinated intergovernmental responses, as well as advocated for local stakeholders regarding the environment, transportation, flooding, oil transport, and business.

Prior to working for Congress Member Lowey, Cory was the District Manager for New York State Senator David Carlucci. There he was the lead point on legislative matters from the district office and was also the director of constituent services. While an undergraduate, Cory interned for New York State Assembly Member Ken Zebrowski Jr. in his Albany office as his session aide.

Cory graduated with a B.A. in history and political science from the University at Albany.
