Charlie Aidinoff: vice president, corporate & legislationAs Vice President on Kasirer’s Corporate & Legislation team, Charlie advises and supports corporate clients on legislative and regulatory matters. He also works on legislative issues for the firm’s real estate and nonprofit clients.

Previously, Charlie was the Intergovernmental and Legislative Affairs Manager for the New York City Mayor’s Office of ThriveNYC, where he coordinated the offices interactions with City and State elected officials. He also coordinated their legislative agenda and priorities. Prior to joining ThriveNYC, Charlie served as a Legislative Representative in the Mayor’s Office of City Legislative Affairs. In this role, Charlie was the primary liaison between City Hall and the City Council on a number of different issues, helping to shape public policy and advancing the Mayor’s legislative agenda. He worked closely with the various Deputy Mayor’s offices, nearly all City agencies, the Law Department, and the Office of Management and Budget in coordinating the Administration’s approach to City Council legislation and hearings. During this time, Charlie worked on hundreds of pieces of legislation including the repeal of the Cabaret Law and the City’s landmark restrictions on tobacco sales. Charlie also worked on Mayor de Blasio’s 2013 campaign for Mayor and subsequent transition team.

Charlie received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, he studied at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris.


In 2021, Charlie was recognized by City & State as one of NYC’s 40 under 40.
