About the Role
Kasirer is seeking to hire an energetic and hard-working individual with strong verbal and written communications skills, superb organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to join our growing team of professionals.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment. They must be self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage their time while handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously without sacrificing attention to details. This individual must be a flexible team player with a can-do attitude and remain calm under pressure.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Scheduling management. Set up business meetings and reservations for the Executive Vice President and President. This position requires frequent interaction with senior staff, elected officials, CEOs, celebrities and community leaders in NYC. Schedule, re-schedule and cancel appointments.
  • Prioritization. Manage numerous requests simultaneously, set priorities with Executive Vice President and demonstrate resourcefulness in strategic problem solving.
  • Provide Support. Build strong working relationships with busy executives and peer administrative team members to provide back-up support and redundancy as needed.
  • Solve Problems. Be a pragmatic problem solver who knows how to be nimble and change strategy when obstacles arise and identify and pursue multiple paths simultaneously to achieve a goal.
  • Information preparation. Contribute to briefings, summaries and descriptions, as needed. Track and report on scheduling items.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, City government highly desirable
  • Strong customer service ethic and disposition
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), especially Outlook
  • Conflict resolution

Experience Prerequisites

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum four years’ work experience in a fast-paced administrative or office support role, including two plus years of proven track record managing the calendars of C level executives
  • Administrative experience must include dealing with a high volume of appointments and management of a complex calendar for multiple individuals
