NYC Nonprofit Real Estate Breakfast
On October 28, we proudly co-hosted the NYC Nonprofit Real Estate Breakfast with HR&A Advisors, bringing together nonprofit and real estate leaders to discuss how real estate strategies can elevate nonprofit missions. The event, “Real Estate Driving the Future of Nonprofit Impact,” featured a distinguished panel of nonprofit and real estate experts who shared actionable insights on topics like optimizing existing spaces, navigating funding opportunities, and aligning real estate goals with organizational missions.
SOMOS Nonprofit Cocktail Reception
Kasirer sent nine staff members and 30 of our nonprofit, corporate and real estate clients to the Annual SOMOS el Futuro conference in Puerto Rico. During the event, Kasirer was honored to co-host the Nonprofit Cocktail Reception with our long-time client and partner, the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation. This inspiring event brought together nonprofit leaders, elected officials, and advocates to celebrate the vital work being done by the nonprofit sector to improve health outcomes and equity across New York and Puerto Rico. The evening highlighted the tireless efforts of organizations and individuals dedicated to serving communities in need.
NYBC Post-Election Recap
Suri Kasirer participated in the New York Building Congress Post-Election Recap, offering her perspective on the recent election’s implications for New York City and State. Suri joined fellow lobbyists and industry experts to discuss critical topics such as building industry priorities, federal funding, addressing labor challenges, and preparing for future election cycles in the City and State. The discussion underscored the importance of proactive policy and advocacy in shaping New York’s economic and social landscape, especially in an ever-evolving political environment.
Women’s Thought Leader Reception
Kasirer hosted the inaugural New York Women’s Thought Leaders Reception in partnership with City & State. This inspiring event celebrated some of New York’s most influential women, honoring their achievements and highlighting the transformative work they’re doing across the nonprofit, corporate, real estate and government sectors. New York’s Director of State Operations Kathryn Garcia was honored as the Government Women of the Year.
