Peter Krokondelas has more than 20 years of government, events management and campaign experience. Peter specializes in crafting targeted community outreach programs at the grassroots level. His political and government service has spanned the five boroughs of New York City, with on-the-ground work in nearly all of its unique, diverse neighborhoods.
At Kasirer, Peter has managed and coordinated a number of major public policy-related campaigns, building large coalitions for large organizations (Cornell University, Lockheed Martin, Walgreens). He has developed significant community and government outreach programs for clients including Brookfield Office Properties, Greenpoint Landing Associates and Brack Capital Real Estate.
His previous position was at Geto & de Milly, where as senior account executive he managed a number of high-profile clients, including Taconic Investment Partners (Coney Island), East River Realty (the former Con Edison site) and Community Preservation Corporation (the Domino Sugar Refinery). He also shaped government affairs strategies and served as liaison to organized labor, regularly negotiating on behalf of clients with union leaders from the building and construction trades, the health care industry, and the retail and hotel sectors.
Peter began his career in public service in 1989, as special assistant to Fernando Ferrer, then The Bronx Borough President. Ten years later, Peter became vice president of operations at NYC political consulting firm The Advance Group, where he worked to elect candidates at all levels of city, state and federal government. In 2006, he managed logistics and coordinated fundraising events for the successful gubernatorial campaign of Eliot Spitzer.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Fordham University and a master’s degree in political management from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University.
